Imeik Approved to Establish National Postdoctoral Research Station

Recently, the Office of the National Postdoctoral Management Committee officially notified Imeik Technology Development Co., Ltd. of its successful approval to establish a national-level postdoctoral research station, according to the official document on the second batch of new postdoctoral research station registrations for 2022.

A postdoctoral research station refers to an organization within enterprises, research institutions, production units, or special regional agencies that is authorized to recruit and train postdoctoral researchers. The approval process by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Office requires that applicant enterprises have specialized R&D institutions and high-level research teams. They must employ a certain number of full-time researchers with senior titles or equivalent qualifications capable of serving as postdoctoral supervisors. The enterprise must provide innovative research projects, adequate research facilities, and necessary living conditions for postdoctoral researchers. Additionally, the enterprise must be recognized by relevant national authorities for its significant scientific and technological innovation capabilities and status.

Imeik has previously been recognized as a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche fields and as a Beijing Enterprise Technology Center. It also operates the Beijing Engineering Laboratory for Biodegradable New Materials. The approval to establish a national postdoctoral research station not only reflects Imeik’s current technological strength but will also serve as a vital driving force for the company’s future high-quality development.
